Campaigning for the National roll out of the Brown bin at the Department of the Environment, Community, and Local Government Customs House Dublin March 7th 2012.

Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government Mr Phil Hogan T.D.  on July 25th  2012 published the new National Waste Document which ensured that a separate collection of organics e.g. Brown bin Food Waste would be a required waste permit condition for those collecting from households within population centres of a given size, and would be introduced on a phased basis over a 4 year period, beginning with larger population centres.

Brown Bin Rescue are delighted to be associated with this successful development, and will closely monitor the progress of the continued roll out of the Brown bin Nationally, and continue campaigning to ensure this plan is completed within this time frame.
